Jamie S. Gartenberg, DDS

Meet Dr. Gartenberg

After completing his undergraduate studies at the University of Florida in 1990, and receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, Dr. Gartenberg earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery. He then completed a one year General Practice Residency at Hackensack Medical Center in New Jersey.

His passion for endodontics led him to a specialty residency at New York University College of Dentistry, which he completed in 1997. He practiced endodontics in Connecticut and New Jersey for several years prior to joining Finger Lakes Endodontics in 2005. During his time in private practice in NJ, Dr. Gartenberg was also a clinical professor in the Department of Endodontics at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. 

He coauthored an article on clinical endodontics, which was published in the Journal of the American Dental Association, with colleagues at the University of Pennsylvania.

He is a Specialist member of the American Association of Endodontists, a member of the American Dental Association, the 6th District Dental Society, and is active in his local dental societies. He served as President of the Tompkins County Dental Society.

Dr. Gartenberg has a passion for cooking, running, reading and spending time with his 3 boys.
